Changes coming in 2025

Starting in January, all designs will be released for free, and I will be including a full final newsletter for the site that includes links so it's easy for subscribers to find.

For my existing paid subscribers as a "thank you", I will also be releasing all of the CAD files for free, and releasing a never-before released set of designs from the old Tinkercad library. These should be a fun look at old projects, as well as a chance to see how some of my designs have progressed since moving over to Fusion 360.

The other changes to the site are as follows:

• Monthly subscriptions will change to $3 or $36/year with no annual discount. This single tier will be for people who want to donate a few dollars in case they find the designs helpful, or want to comment on the articles. You won't need to pay for designs anymore, and all current subscribers will get an update if they choose to cancel.
• Current free tier subscribers will get the final free newsletter, then will be unsubscribed as the free tier is removed. This may seem strange, but my hosting provider charges by free as well as paid subscribers, and this costs a surprising percentage of costs each month. All designs will still be free.
• Projects will be released between 1-3 times a year or as I have time, but will release more incrementally, so the final builds will be a little less common but the designs will be shared as I work on them.
• Subscribing or clicking the referral links are still an excellent way to support the ongoing projects, but expect a much slower pace in 2025.

Finally for 2024, I want to thank all of you for the subscriptions, the downloads, the builds, and the photos you have sent me this year.
